Did you know that Keedo is a proudly South African brand with their factory right here in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town? Each garment is lovingly stitched by one of the 220 staff employed at the Keedo Factory which has been supporting the community through job provision since 1993, employs sustainable practices and works hard to create high quality kids clothing, infused with love and care.

Keedo have also recently extended their range to include size 6-7 years which is fantastic. Keedo is quite a big fit and so the 6-7 fits my 8 year old Ilan very comfortably with room to grow. The quality is great and the designs are fun, comfortable and super cute and in my opinion, so wholesome and age appropriate too. At first glance, the girls range is more eye-catching but maybe I’m just a magpie because I really struggled to choose an outfit for the boys – there were too many options!

I love that Keedo is homegrown and home-sewn and the fact that their range is made right here by South Africans, for South Africans is worth celebrating. Although their main manufacturing takes place at the Paarden Eiland factory, there are also various smaller satellite factories for home sewers and together they supply 36 mainline stores nationwide plus the online store.
